Wire EDM machining

This process is ideal for creating complex, 2D and 3D shapes, tight internal corners, and thin walls, all while maintaining tight tolerances. Sinker EDM machining

Also known as die-sinking EDM or RAM EDM, sinker EDM uses a custom-shaped electrode to form complex cavities and shapes into the workpiece. Sinker EDM is ideal for creating molds, dies, and parts with deep cavities and undercuts. It allows for machining of hard metals like titanium, hardened steel, and carbide that are difficult to machine through other methods.

  • Wire EDM: Usually the size of the parts processed by wire cutting is 385*295*180mm, Up to 500 mm x 400 mm x 300 mm (approx. 19.7 in x 15.7 in x 11.8 in).
  • Sinker EDM: Up to 400 mm x 300 mm x 250 mm (approx. 15.7 in x 11.8 in x 9.8 in).
  • Achievable tolerances as tight as ±0.005 mm (approx. ±0.0002 in), ensuring parts meet even the most demanding specifications.
  • We offer various surface finish options based on your specific requirements, including fine surface finishes for aesthetic or functional purposes, ranging from Ra 0.8 μm to Ra 0.2 μm.
  • Standard Turnaround: 5-10 business days, depending on part complexity and quantity.
  • Expedited Services: 2-5 business days for urgent projects with shorter lead times.
  • Large Production Runs: Lead time varies based on volume, but we work closely with clients to ensure on-time delivery for every project.
  • The lead time depends on the customer’s requirements. For Urgent cases can be given more priority, based on customer needs.
